I made a new eating video just for fun, but then it became the video for my fundraising campaign for my upcoming dietetic internship.
(Since videos of me talking are booooooring.)
If you want to help out, share my campaign, or get yourself a perk (including an ebooklet, private forum membership, t-shirts, and the right to tell me what to blog about.) We’ve got 56 days to make this happen.
In the coming days, you will also see some blog posts specially requested by some of my contributors. Should be fun/interesting/weird.
I can’t say thank you enough to all of my readers, and to all of the people who’ve already donated. You are literally making my life here.

Go out and give ’em hell!
Thank you Wendy!
DISCLAIMER: WILL NOT ACTUALLY BE GIVING ANYONE HELL. I AM A VERY NICE PERSON.
Donation made. If I may also make a suggestion: Start thinking about what you’ll do if you get even more than the $10,300 you need, because I think you’re going to get there!
Keep up the awesomeness!!
Thank you, Judy! And I’m definitely thinking about it. It’s something I did not think I would have to consider, but it looks like I might.
How could I NOT contribute after all the help and healing I have found in your blog throughout the years? Best of luck with your internship, I know that you’ll kick some serious ass, Michelle! <3
It makes me really happy to hear that you’ve gotten something out of my blog, Mari. That’s the whole point of doing this, for me. Thank you so very much!
Sweet and funny and sexy (and I’m a straight chick!) video… And I so loathe my dietitians – I have idiopathic gastroparesis and nonalcoholic pancreatitis, and I just wanna eat some tasty things without hurting or hurling, but they’re obsessed with my geedee 37.2 BMI (me being one of the approximately 1/3 of gastroparetics who GAINS weight) – that I just had to chip in toward putting a dietitian on the planet who I know I would love and look forward to appointments instead of dreading them, even though I’m in the wrong country. ;) (I really wish it could be more but I’m frantically saving for a Blendtec so I’ll stop burning up – literally, smoke and everything – $25 blenders!) Go forth and be amazing!
Thank you for any amount you were able to contribute, Mari, it all adds up and makes me feel incredibly grateful. I’m sorry to hear you’re having a rough time with your RDs. Gastroparesis and pancreatitis are definitely not fun. I hope the Blendtec helps you out!
I just contributed because you are a goddess and more people need to have access to your brain. Thank you for your work here on the blog. You have made a huge contribution to my personal self-love and healing campaign. Go be awesome and spread awesomeness amongst dietitians (and generally)!
That’s so nice, Victoria, thank you very much.
I wish we had known about this and could have promoted for you… I love it. The video is powerful. So sorry we aren’t coming to Toronto — I will keep hoping that we get a chance to…
